Service Description

Barking can be a response to many stimuli outdoors, from other dogs to unfamiliar sounds. We’ll explore ways to manage your dog’s excitement or anxiety by helping them feel more at ease and less reactive. You’ll gain insights into how to control their barking without feeling frustrated. Trainer: Carlos Chacon When: Date/Time of your choosing How: One session Who: All family members are welcome to participate Where: My neighbourhood or yours. Please note: - Ongoing text/phone support is available before & after your session(s)! The following is the structure of a private training session: 1. Address your questions & concerns We can take some time after to quickly go through any questions and concerns you have. 2. See your dog's behaviour/obedience issues Often times step 1 might get mixed in and done at the same time as this second step, depending on the severity of the issue. This is when I get to draw a picture of your dog and how he behaves and why. 3. Put together a course of action, and begin providing you with solutions and the ideas behind them. The plan I will have come up with to help your dog will depend very much on his level of energy, past experiences, his reactions and his skills. 4. Execute/adjust the plan, practice and start seeing results. This is when we get to work on the actual issue(s). The more members of your family are present during this part of the session, the better we can have everyone be on the same page regarding the course of action and how we expect the dog to behave and interact with everyone. 5.
