A four-month-old Yorkshire Terrier from Loretto, Ont., is making a big impression, and possibly breaking records, thanks to her tiny frame.
Lulu stands just three inches tall and weighs less than one pound, making her a contender for the title of the worldâs smallest dog.
Her owner, Kim Passero, said Lulu may be small, but sheâs full of spirit. âShe is probably the sauciest dog Iâve ever had,â Passero shared.
Despite her small size, Lulu is playful, energetic and not afraid to stand her ground. âWhen she had her first bath she swatted at me and bit me, telling me, âI donât like this!â And she has the tiniest teeth,â her owner added.
The Yorkie is shorter and lighter than the current Guinness World Records holder for smallest living dog by height. However, Guinness requires dogs to be at least one year old before being considered for the record.
